You Will Never Be Alone
Your hyperbaric technician will stay by your side during the whole duration of your treatment. You’ll be in constant communication. Prior to entering the chamber, your technician will explain exactly what it feels like, how to relax, and how to clear your ears comfortably. Your technician will also let you know of important steps along the way, such as when the chamber is at pressure, when it’s time to take an air break, and when the therapy is almost done. You’re encouraged to express any concerns before, during, and after your treatment.
The Chamber Is Completely Transparent
Many patients are relieved to see that the chamber is completely transparent, which means that you will be able to see through the plastic. This eases many patients’ anxiety. You’ll be able to see your therapist, the TV, and the surrounding room.
You Do Not Have To Be Still
Unlike in an MRI, you can move around during your treatment. You can shift or change positions to get comfortable.
Entertainment
Many patients find the therapy to be extremely relaxing. You can choose to nap or rest in silence if you prefer. Also, you can choose to use this time to catch up on your favorite show, watch a great movie, or listen to some music. We provide all these options for you.
You’ll Never Be Trapped
Your technician is constantly by your side. If for some reason you need to end the treatment prematurely, you can let the therapist know. It will then take about 10 minutes to bring the chamber to a pressure that is safe to exit. You always have a choice!
You’ll Have Plenty of Room
You’ll have more room in the hyperbaric chamber than you would in the driver’s seat of your car, and you will be able to comfortably see out of the chamber. The FDA-approved chamber is designed for your safety and comfort.
