If you are interested in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) treatments, you may be happy to know that currently there are fourteen (14) conditions that are FDA Approved for HBOT. This also means that if your condition is listed below, most health insurance companies will approve and cover the cost of HBOT treatment for that condition.

There also are numerous other conditions, for which HBOT is an acceptable and effective treatment option, yet they are considered “Off-Label,” which means that they are not yet FDA Approved. As HBOT continues to gain in popularity and usage, more clinical studies for all the potential conditions it may benefit are being performed. In many cases, there are studies already that show very promising results and benefits for those conditions. We hope that soon more conditions will qualify as approved for HBOT under FDA standards. Meanwhile, although most likely your insurance company will not cover the cost of your treatment, you still can undergo HBOT treatment for Off-label conditions. We’ll talk more about that soon and discuss the benefits of HBOT treatment for various ailments
